Dr. Prabhaka's dental clinic was founded by Dr. Ramachandra Prabhakar in 1981 with an aim to provide holistic dental care. Dr.Vaishnavi Prabhakar is trained by the best, is a Board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial pain. She manages and treats every facial pain with care and compassion. Our doctors are experienced and provide the best care with a straightforward approach based on the requirements and needs. The Orofacial Pain Clinic of Dr.Prabhakar's facial pain and family dental center is committed to providing pain relief and treatment for patients with orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders.

At our Center, our orofacial pain specialist, Dr.Vaishnavi Prabhakar, holds the status of diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. Dr.Vaishnavi has been trained by several pioneers in the field of orofacial pain; she treats every facial pain patient with care and compassion. Additionally, our International Consultant, Dr.Davis Thomas, DDS, also helps in diagnosing the toughest conditions, and gives valuable input to improve patient quality of life. Doctors use patient history, lab work, and other investigations to devise a treatment protocol to relieve pain. They also coordinate with other specialists like oral surgeons, ENT, neurologists, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, sleep physicians, and other physicians to provide the best possible care.

Dr. Ramachandra Prabhakar
BDS, MDS

Dr. Ramachandra Prabhakar BDS, MDS our clinical head has served as the Dean, Head of the Department, and Orthodontist at various dental institutions across India. He is one of the leading experts in the field of Dentistry and Dentofacial Orthodontics. He graduated from Madras Dental College in 1980 with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Masters in Dental Surgery in Orthodontics. Dr. Prabhakar has more than 47 years of experience and has treated several lacs of children and adults with dental braces. He has mentored several specialists across the country and continues to inspire many others to treat patients with care and compassion.

Dr. Vaishnavi Prabhakar
BDS, MDS

Dr. Vaishnavi Prabhakar BDS, MDS is an American Board-Certified Orofacial pain, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, and Dental Sleep Medicine Specialist with more than 15 years of experience. She is one of the first few specialists in India and Asia to receive the Diplomate Stature from the American Board of Orofacial Pain, ABOP. Dr. Vaishnavi completed her Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics, Crown, and Bridge, and Oral Implantology from SRM University, Chennai. She is one of the first to receive the Fellowship in temporomandibular joint disorder, orofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine from Roseman University, USA. In 2019, she received her Mastership degree in Orofacial pain from Roseman University, USA. She is a leading expert in diagnosing and managing facial pain, temporomandibular joint disorder, headaches, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and snoring. She has lectured at various universities and conferences on orofacial pain. She also practices general dentistry along with cosmetic dentistry specializing in dental veneers and smile designing.
