What are clear aligners/ Invisalign?

Clear aligners are currently used as an alternative to traditional orthodontic bracers. Clear aligners are used when patient has discomfort or when their occupation restricts them from getting the alignment corrected with regular braces. Of which Invisalign is one of the most widely used and successful clear aligners. They work effectively for both teens and adults by gradually moving the teeth to the desired position.

How is the treatment planned with Aligners?

The patient will first go through clinical examination and digital scanning by our orthodontist who will give the closest treatment outcome. After this a series of aligners are provided in a sequential order based on the treatment plan. The patient then uses the aligners as per the recommended treatment plan.

Are aligners uncomfortable to wear?

Aligners have minimal discomfort when you wear them initially, and with time the patient will get adapted to the changes with no discomfort.

Can others see me wearing a clear aligner?

It is rarely visible for others to notice the aligner in your mouth.
